This is what we are here for: To allow young Jewish professionals the opportunity to find their Jewish path.

The young Jewish community in Austin is a vibrant and welcoming place, filled with beautiful people who connect with each other and their Jewish heritage.

We understand that it can be overwhelming to explore a new group of people, but please rest assured that you will be welcomed with open arms.

What they offer

Chabad Young Jewish Professionals is a young professionals' centre in Austin, led by Rabbi Mendy Levertov.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club, a bat mitzvah club and a young professionals' circle.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital and visits Jewish prisoners.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
