Chabad at UIC & West Loop offers Shabbat and holiday programs & services and educational and social events for adults and kids. All are welcome regardless of affiliation.
Chabad at UIC and West Loop is one of over 4,500 Chabad Centers worldwide, inspired by the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. Chabad at UIC was founded in 2008 as a division of Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois to provide Jewish opportunities to Jewish students at UIC and Rush and to serve the community in the vicinity.

Led by Rabbi Bentzy and Chani Shemtov, Chabad has reached out and touched thousands of lives through a warm and personal approach to community building.
Hundreds of students, individuals and families have taken part in weekly Shabbat dinners & Services, Torah Classes, Jewish Social events, Holiday Family Events, Women's Events, Tot Shabbats, Public Menorah Lightings, Passover Seders, Jewish Kids Club and more. In 2013, Chabad moved to its current location on 1074 W. Polk St, where it continues to grow.

Chabad UIC & West Loop is a Chabad house on campus in Chicago, led by Rabbi Bentzion Shemtov.
