The French Chabad & Jewish Educational Leadership Institute is a 501(c)3 non for profit organization that was established in 2002, by Rabbi Yisroel and Mrs Louiza Frankforter following the guidance of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
Our mission is to facilitate the study of the Jewish Heritage for every Jew in South Florida (and beyond) in the language he or she is most comfortable.
Due to the rising anti-Semitism in France , many Jews feel compelled to relocate. A large amount of French Jews have chosen to make their new home right here in South Florida .

What they offer
French Chabad of Florida is a Chabad house in Surfside, led by Rabbi Yisroel Frankforter.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community. There is a mikveh for men.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and distributes food packages.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
