Rabbi Alex and Chani Kaller founded Chabad Russian Center in Sunny Isles Beach, FL in September of 2003. Their vision and dedication to our community have helped create a beautiful, welcoming organization for all. The center started out in a small storefront and has since moved to a larger location to accommodate the growing community. At Chabad, there is something for everyone: Mommy and Me, The Gan Preschool, Hebrew School on Sunday, Hebrew Club at Norman S. Edelcup K-8, teen programs, volunteer opportunities, family holiday programs, community wide holiday celebrations, adult education throughout the week, daily morning, afternoon, and evening services, and more. Join us! We look forward to greeting each of you at Chabad.

What they offer

Chabad Russian Center of S. Florida is a centre for Russian-speaking Jews in Sunny Isles Beach, led by Rabbi Alexander Kaller.

There is a synagogue on the premises. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a preschool, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
