Chabad of Moorpark is dedicated to serving all Jews with Ahavat Yisrael - an unconditional love and concern for every Jew, regardless of background and affiliation.
Chabad’s mission is to strengthen the Jewish Community of Moorpark and its’ environs by promoting Jewish pride, study and celebration.
Its multiple programs provide the education to promote Jewish knowledge and awareness and the means to practice and experience our Jewish heritage.
It encourages every positive action on the part of every Jew and facilitates the efforts of every organization, synagogue or group to increase Jewish knowledge and observance.

What they offer
Chabad of Moorpark is a Chabad house in Moorpark, led by Rabbi Shimon Heidingsfeld.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club and bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs and runs a free loan fund.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
