The Gutnick Mazal Jewish Center is part of the worldwide Chabad Lubavitch movement.
On the 26 th of Shvat 5752 (Jan 31, 1992), the Lubavitcher Rebbe gave His approval and Blessings for the opening of the Gutnick Mazal Je wish Center in D.D.O.
Inspired and directed by the Rebbe, Rabbi Yehoshua and Esther Yarmush established The Gutnick Mazal Jewish Center.
Over the following decade, steady growth compelled the Center to expand its premises three times. As our Center continued to develop and grow, in 1998, we built a beautiful modern building, by the grace of G‑d, and with the help and support of many dedicated individuals. This new location, includes a lovely and spacious shul, classrooms and Mikveh.

Gutnick Mazal Jewish Center is a Chabad house in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, led by Rabbi Yehoshua Yarmush.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a preschool, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club and bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
