JewishUtah.comChabad House in Salt Lake City, Utah, led by Rabbi Benny Zippel.
Chabad-Lubavitch is a philosophy, a movement, and an organization. It is considered to be the most dynamic force in Jewish life today.
Project H.E.A.R.T. is dedicated to the outreach to young people in at risk from a variety of problems in today's society. We reach out every year and throughout the entire year to hundreds of teen boys and girls in Residential Treatment Centers throughout Utah that suffer from a variety of conditions like ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder), ADD, ADHD, PTSD, Anorexia, Bulimia etc.
We offer unconditional love to these precious souls, through weekly enrichment visitations by Rabbi Zippel, Holiday Awareness activities (Menorah lighting ceremonies in RTC), weekly discussions with the Rabbi on Torah Portion, the Jewish Mystical perspective on current events, anger management sessions based on Torah Judaism, attempts to reconcile strained relationships with parents and/or family members all with a non-judgmental all-accepting approach.
