Welcome to Camp Gan Israel, one of the largest and fastest growing networks of Jewish Day Camps in the world. Camp Gan Israel of The Woodlands enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a trendsetter with innovative programming, fun activities and exciting field trips, in a warm and upbeat environment.
Camp Gan Israel is much more than a physical break from the school routine. It is a comprehensive program that includes field trips, swimming, sports, creativity, crafts and more. Campers of all ages enjoy a wide range of exciting activities and field trips in a vivacious atmosphere. At Camp Gan Israel, your child will experience a rich and wholesome summer vacation of fun and excitement, that will give him or her memories to last the whole year.

What they offer
Chabad of The Woodlands is a Chabad house in The Woodlands, led by Rabbi Mendel Blecher.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. Accommodation for guests can be arranged. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club and bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
