Motivated by a profound love for every Jew, and spurred by a boundless optimism over the past 30 years, Chabad of Plano has grown to provide a myriad of spiritual services, educational initiatives, and recreational activities out of our beautiful and modern Lang Chabad Center.

What they offer

Chabad of Plano/Collin County is a Chabad house in Plano, led by Rabbi Mendel Block.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a Hebrew school, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
