We aim to help foster a deeper sense of pride and appreciation of our Jewish heritage; and to ensure the continuity of the Jewish people.
The unique programming we offer includes creative educational projects, designed to advance Jewish knowledge, awareness and practice.
Most of all however, we offer Judaism with a smile and a home away from home for everyone who walks through our doors. Our work is not only limited to the spiritual welfare of our brothers and sisters, Sarah and myself are ready and available 24 – 7 for anyone requiring assistance in every type of situation, from the youngsters to the elderly and everyone in-between.

What they offer
Chabad of Charleston & The Low Country is a Chabad house in Mount Pleasant, led by Rabbi Yossi Refson.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, after-school programmes and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
