Welcome to Gan YISI Summer Day Camp of Staten Island, a merger between Camp Gan Israel and YISI Day Camp.
The real secret to our success lies in our outstanding staff! We believe that camp should do alot more than fun & games... It should be a place where children learn the importance of caring, sharing, tolerance, patience and working with others. A camp should bring out the best in each child's character and personality. A Jewish day camp should be a place where this can be experienced with the richness and excitement of Judaism.
Finally, camp should be a truly enjoyable and unforgettable experience... and that's what Camp Gan YISI is all about! This website will provide you with necessary information regarding camp. However if you have any concerns, questions or suggestions, please feel free to call.
No one puts more care into the care of your child. Gan YISI Summer is much more than a physical break from the school routine and winter activities. It’s a comprehensive program designed to strengthen the body and soul. It provides your child with a rich and wholesome summer vacation of fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.

What they offer
Chabad Lubavitch of Staten Island is a Chabad house in Staten Island, led by Rabbi Moshe Katzman.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
