Welcome to Chabad Hebrew School of Riverdale, an innovative after-school Jewish enrichment program. Our program is a trend setter in creative Jewish expression and education for children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
Our Hebrew School prides itself on an outstanding Judaic and Hebrew language program , a fun and rich understanding of our holidays and culture , dynamic staff and stimulated students. Our program welcomes Jewish students regardless of religious background or affiliation.

What they offer
Chabad Lubavitch of Riverdale is a Chabad house in Riverdale, led by Rabbi Levi Shemtov.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group.
