Chabad of Park Slope has served as a beacon of light and a center for Jewish life and education in Brownstone Brooklyn since it was founded by the visionary couple Rabbi Shimon and Sarah Hecht in 1987.
Chabad of Park Slope is a vibrant and inclusive community in the heart of Brooklyn. Motivated by a profound love for every Jew and spurred by a boundless optimism, Chabad of Park Slope offers an impressive array of programs, classes and services to educate, inspire, and uplift Jews from all walks of life with unconditional love and acceptance.
We are dedicated to promoting, fostering and encouraging Jewish life in a warm and welcoming environment for all people, regardless of background, level of commitment, affiliation and/or financial means.

What they offer
Chabad of Park Slope is a synagogue in Brooklyn, led by Rabbi Shimon Hecht.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
