Campus Chabad House in Brooklyn, New York, led by Rabbi Simcha Weinstein.

Founded in 2003 by Rabbi Simcha and Ariella Weinstein, Chabad of Clinton Hill and Pratt Institute has been serving the religious, educational, social, and pastoral needs of the thousands of Jewish students and community members.

All are welcome regardless of affiliation, level of observance and we have no Membership-fees or dues!

In 2020 Rabbi Yossi and Chaya Eliav (and baby Zeesy, Chava and Simchi) joined the team, empowered with leading the community, Synagogue, and Undergraduate Programming.

For almost 300 years Chabad has worked to establish, re-establish, and strengthen world Jewry. We strive to serve the Jewish-educational and Jewish-communal experiences of our ever-growing and diverse community.

What they offer

Chabad of Clinton Hill and Pratt Institute is a Chabad house on campus in Brooklyn, led by Rabbi Simcha Weinstein.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a young professionals' circle.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid and runs a free loan fund.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. The building is wheelchair accessible.
