Rabbi Mendy Ross was raised in the small town of Matawan, New Jersey. Growing up in a modest sized Jewish community, Mendy learned to value each individual along with the profound effect each mitzvah has on oneself and the world at large. The son of community activists, Mendy spent his youth involved with his local synagogue and community. He received Rabbinical Ordination from Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitz in 2015. Mendy is excited to contribute to the Jewish community with his contagious positive energy and enthusiasm.
Tirtza Ross (nee Phillips) was born and raised in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts where her father was the Principal of the local Jewish day school for over 25 years. Following in his footsteps, Tirtza has successfully taught and implemented curriculums for all age groups at a variety of educational institutions in Massachusetts. Tirtza brings a wealth of experience in Youth programming to the Chabad of Duluth team.
Rabbi Mendy and Tirtza along with their five children, are excited to enhance Jewish life in Northern Minnesota.
