What they offer
Chabad of Owings Mills is a Chabad house in Owings Mills, led by Rabbi Nochum Katsenelenbogen.
There is a synagogue on the premises. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
For children there is a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.
They officiate at funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, serves military personnel and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
