North Suburban Lubavitch Chabad - Central Avenue Synagogue is a synagogue in Highland Park, led by Rabbi Yosef Schanowitz.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available. Dishes can be toveled here.
Classes run regularly, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a Hebrew school.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at funerals.
The center visits patients in hospital.
There is a women's group. The building is wheelchair accessible.
