Hi, Welcome to Chabad of Oviedo!. If you are new here, allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Rabbi Tzvi and Fraidy Dubov, the directors of Chabad of Oviedo-Winter Springs.
Our mission is to create a vibrant Jewish community that will promote and strengthen Jewish awareness, pride and community through educational, cultural and social activities for all Jewish individuals, and families living in the Oviedo Winter Springs area, regardless of background or affiliation. What they offer
Chabad of Oviedo-Winter Springs is a Chabad house in Oviedo, led by Rabbi Tzvi Dubov.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught.
For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
