Davie Florida is one of the largest towns in the United States. It has managed to maintain a rural style amidst its surrounding urban development, retaining the atmosphere of a western frontier town. Horses and ranches are a common sight in Davie.
The West Davie area, is home to some 3,000 Jews, but lacks a semblance of community. The potential for a thriving community exists, and there is opportunity for a bright future for the Jews of Davie.
Since founding Chabad of West Davie in 2014 Rabbi Mendel and Mushky Spalter, along with their children Schneur Zalman, Aizik, Shmuel, Levi, Devorah Leah & Rivka have been working hard to bring people together to help each other and to learn from one another, lighting the torch of Jewish tradition under the palm trees of West Davie Florida.
Chabad of West Davie is committed to serve Jews of all background from all over the region.

What they offer
Chabad of West Davie is a Chabad house in Davie, led by Rabbi Mendel Spalter.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
