Chabad House in Bradenton, Florida, led by Rabbi Mendy Bukiet.
Chabad of Bradenton & Lakewood Ranch, led by Rabbi Mendy and Chanie Bukiet and their family, is dedicated to creating meaningful Jewish experiences that are welcoming, relevant, and accessible to every individual. Guided by the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Chabad brings the timeless wisdom of Torah to life in a warm, modern way that meets people wherever they are on their Jewish journey.
Since 2004, Chabad has been serving the Manatee Jewish community through a wide range of educational, social, and spiritual programs for all ages. From Shabbat services and holiday celebrations to Hebrew School, adult learning, Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, and community gatherings, Chabad is a place where every Jew can feel at home, connect with their heritage, and strengthen their Jewish identity in an open and welcoming environment.
We are really excited to be launching our ninth year with our very own local and growing CTeen chapter! It will begin on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. The program promises to be exciting and uplifting for teens everywhere, and we would be delighted to have your child join us for the CTeen experience.
Dates: September 29, October 25, October 27, November 13, December 1, January 24, February 7, February 23, February 26-28, March 16, April 13, May 21, June 6 Our mission is to give your child three things: * Jewish Network :* Teens love to socialize, they love to network. CTeen is an environment where teens can connect and befriend other Jewish kids their age in a fun, social setting. * Jewish Identity :* Using well-structured and teen-oriented programming, our meetings will inspire your child, and instill within them a strong Jewish pride. Ultimately, this will give them the inner connection to remain Jewishly active, both in college and beyond. * Jewish Values : * Studies show that by joining groups that emphasize community service and humanitarian projects, teens build their self-esteem, strengthen integrity, and maximize their cognitive development. In addition, our round-table discussions will promote strong ethics and communal responsibility, with a specific focus on valuable life lessons. It is estimated that only 20% of a teenager’s personal time is actually spent in a structured school environment. CTeen provides a fun opportunity for teenagers to transform some free time into meaningful time, constructively spent learning, giving, and interacting with other teens. This is an opportunity that no Jewish teenager should miss, and there's plenty of room for all their friends as well! Encourage your child to get involved, attend a group meeting, and experience this program first hand.
