Simply put, Chabad Jewish Community Center's mission is to reach out to others with acts of goodness and kindness. We are a community-based nonprofit organization whose efforts are rooted in traditional Jewish values. From university students and families to individuals just passing through, we are here for you and warmly welcome everyone to our center. Camp Gan Israel is part of the largest and fastest-growing network of Jewish day camps in the world.

Camp Gan Israel was established to create a safe and engaging Jewish day camp experience. Our holistic program is designed for growth and fun to complement each other. Exciting trips, water sports, swimming, and meaningful friendships, are just some of the highlights your child will be coming home to tell you about.

What they offer

Chabad Jewish Community Center of Riverside is a Jewish community centre in Riverside, led by Rabbi Shmuel M. Fuss.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available. Dishes can be toveled here.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.

For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a young professionals' circle.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.
