What they offer
Silverlake Chabad is a Chabad house in Los Angeles, led by Rabbi Mendy Ceitlin.
Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged.
For children there is after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and visits Jewish prisoners.
