The Chabad House at UCI is a home away from home for Jewish College Student in Orange County.
Chabad seeks to be a “home away from home” for Jewish students on campus and offers a wealth of social, educational and spiritual programs.
At college, students are exposed to new ideas and experiences and Chabad seeks to ensure that students graduate as stronger and more empowered Jews than when they entered.
At the core of Chabad’s success lies our complete dedication to the holistic wellbeing of each individual student. The Chabad House is a ‘home away from home’ for every Jewish student. Rabbi Zevi and Miriam Tenenbaum consider each student to be a part of their own family. In a world of numbers and statistics, Chabad is a truly unique treasure offering students emotional security, moral comfort, spiritual growth and personal guidance.

What they offer
The Rohr Chabad at UC Irvine is a Chabad house on campus in Irvine, led by Rabbi Zevi Tenenbaum.
Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.
The center looks after the elderly.
