Born and raised in the vibrant and friendly Jewish community of Melbourne, Australia, Rabbi Shmuli Raitman obtained his Rabbinical Ordination whilst at the Central Lubavitch Yeshivah of America after having pursued intense Judaic studies at leading Schools in Melbourne, London, Israel and New York. As a Rabbinical Student, Rabbi Raitman passionately volunteered for Jewish causes and assisted smaller Jewish communities in Tanzania, Kenya, Ukraine, Germany, Peru, Saskatchewan and Brazil. Rabbi Raitman has served as an Associate Rabbi at Chabad of Midtown Manhattan and has led Jewish Programming at Centers across America. Rabbi Raitman acquired a reputation among his peers and friends as a personable, caring individual with sharp intelligence and good sense of humor. He enjoys leading a holistic approach to life, informed by Jewish spiritual wisdom and coupled with contemporary insights of modern scientific research.

Mushky Raitman grew up in Los Angeles, CA as the youngest of thirteen siblings. She spent much of her spare time assisting siblings at their established Chabad Centers in Bangkok (Thailand), Albuquerque (New Mexico) and Port Washington (New York). Mushky graduated High School in Los Angeles with honors and continued advanced studies at Teacher Seminaries in Jerusalem and New York. Additionally, Mushky pioneered highly successful Youth Programs for Chabad of Port Washington and has directed prominent Jewish Camps around the world including Camp Gan Israel Silver Springs (Maryland) and CGI Stockholm (Sweden). Mushky’s warm and upbeat personality is felt by all who come in contact with her. Her contagious smile and easygoing nature makes her great company to be around. She enjoys entertaining, gourmet healthy cooking and socializing. Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe- Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Rabbi Shmuli and Mushky Raitman together with their children Mendel, Tzivia, Pinny, Asher, Zahava and Cherna have established a Chabad Jewish Center in Danville, CA. Their goal is to strengthen Jewish awareness and pride for the Jewish residents of Danville/S. Ramon, by creating an environment where every person, regardless of background or affiliation, is welcome to explore and experience their heritage in a warm and non-judgmental environment.
