What they offer

Chabad of Ramat Hasharon is a Chabad house in Ramat Hasharon, led by Rabbi Yehuda Butman.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community. There is a mikveh for men.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is after-school programmes and a children's club.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction.

They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, serves military personnel, looks after the elderly, distributes food packages, provides humanitarian aid and runs a soup kitchen.
