Welcome to Chabad of Karnei Shomron, a warm and vibrant Jewish Community Center that has been serving the Karnei Shomron community since 1999. Under the dedicated leadership of Rabbi Yitzhak Cohen and his wife Sara Naomi, along with their five children, our center has grown into a cornerstone of Jewish life in the area. We are proud to offer a wide array of services and programs designed to meet the spiritual, educational, and social needs of our diverse community.
At Chabad of Karnei Shomron, our mission is to inspire and nurture Jewish life through engaging educational programs, meaningful religious experiences, and a strong sense of community. We strive to make Judaism accessible to all, regardless of background or affiliation, guided by the principles of love, kindness, and inclusivity.
Our Adult Education program offers a stimulating environment for personal growth and Jewish learning. From weekly classes to special lectures, we provide numerous opportunities for adults to deepen their understanding of Jewish thought, tradition, and practice.
Our Judaica/Gift Shop features a wide selection of Jewish books, ritual items, and gifts, making it easy for community members to celebrate and observe Jewish traditions. The Synagogue serves as the heart of our community, offering daily and Shabbat prayer services and fostering a spiritual connection among congregants.

What they offer
Chabad of Karnei Shomron is a Jewish community centre in Karnei Shomron, led by Rabbi Yitzhak Cohen.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, serves military personnel, looks after the elderly and distributes food packages.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here. A mitzvah tank goes out from here.
