What they offer
Chabad of Iceland is a Chabad house in Reykjavik, led by Rabbi Avraham Feldman.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A mikveh is available.
Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged. There is a library.
For children there is after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a young professionals' circle.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
