The essential goal of our school is for each child to develop deeply rooted feelings of pride and affection for their Jewish heritage and for the Land of Israel. We believe this is best accomplished in an atmosphere of joy, warmth, and belonging. Our Hebrew School is a traditional Jewish learning environment that welcomes families from all walks of life. Every family can feel comfortable with our warm and inclusive approach. Chabad welcomes every Jew, regardless of religious background or level of observance, and no membership or prior affiliation is required for enrollment. We invite your child to discover that exploring his or her Jewish roots can be a meaningful, exciting, and fascinating experience.

Chabad of Valley Stream, founded in 1994, is nurtured and supported by concerned members of communities on Long Island's South Shore. Chabad is dedicated to the re­establishment and strengthening of our Judaic faith, principles, identity, commitment, and pride.
