Chabad of Mendham & Chester was launched in early 2023 by Rabbi Ari and Sarah Herson, along with their two children, Shmuel and Hinda. Their mission is simple: to make Jewish life feel a little more local, a lot more meaningful, and always welcoming.

We’re here for the holidays, the Shabbats, the deep questions, the lighthearted moments, the challah baking, and the random “just wanted to chat” texts.
