Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland

The Jewish Uniformed Service Association of Maryland was founded in 2012 by Rabbi Chesky and Chani Tenenbaum. JUSA provides current and retired Jewish Law Enforcement officers [Military, Police, Fire and Public Safety] of the state of Maryland with educational and social support and activities. JUSA’s motto - “Serving Those who Serve Us”- reflects its mission to provide spiritual & counseling support to Jewish law enforcement members.

JUSA programs include Synagogue Services, Mezuzahs for Law Enforcement, Shabbat and High Holiday Services and programs, One-on-one counseling, Daily Learning Program and a Law Enforcement lounge. JUSA also offers a Jewish Cultural Training workshop for Law Enforcement professionals and members of the armed forces to give them an understanding of the needs of the Jewish population.
