We, therefore, provide a space where people come together to celebrate, to study, to care, to heal, and to mourn. Chabad's goal is to encourage people to live a more meaningful life by sharing their passions, ideas and inspirations with others; to care for others in their community, and to be cared for by others in turn. We provide Jewish oriented programs, events, lectures, prayer services, study groups, outings and meals that bring people together in a shared interdependent space where they can grow together. Chabad of Kona & West Hawaii — בית חב"ד ב-Kailua Kona, בהנהלת Rabbi Levi Gerlitzky.
יש במקום בית כנסת. אורחים מתקבלים לסעודות שבת וחג. ארוחות כשרות זמינות במסגרת מנוי. אפשר לסדר לינה לאורחים. פועלת כאן חנות מוצרים כשרים. מכשירים מטבחים עבור הקהילה. יש מקווה.
מתקיימים שיעורים באופן קבוע, אפשר לקבוע חברותא ומתקיימות הרצאות לציבור.
לנוער ולצעירים יש הכנה לבר ובת מצווה.
עורכים כאן חתונות, בריתות ולוויות. מכינים זוגות לנישואין. חברה קדישא משרתת את הקהילה.
המרכז מבקר חולים בבתי חולים, מבקר אסירים יהודים, משרת אנשי צבא ומטפל בקשישים.
יש חוג נשים. אפשר לבדוק כאן מזוזות ותפילין.
