The Chabad House offers a wide variety of educational and spiritual opportunities for Jews of all backgrounds who want to learn more about their Jewish roots. From holiday celebrations to adult education classes, a Hebrew school experience your children will treasure, and Shabbat dinners, Chabad has something for every Jew.

Everyone is welcome at Chabad regardless of their personal level of religious observance. Allow yourself the opportunity to join for services, a holiday program, or just stop in to say hello and participate in our vibrant Jewish family.

מה יש כאן

Chabad of Almaden — מרכז קהילתי יהודי ב-San Jose, בהנהלת Rabbi Mendel Weinfeld.

יש במקום בית כנסת. אורחים מתקבלים לסעודות שבת וחג. ארוחות כשרות זמינות במסגרת מנוי. אפשר לסדר לינה לאורחים. פועלת כאן חנות מוצרים כשרים. יש חנות יודאיקה. מכשירים מטבחים עבור הקהילה. יש מקווה. אפשר להטביל כלים.

מתקיימים שיעורים באופן קבוע, אפשר לקבוע חברותא, נלמדים קורסים של מכון JLI ומתקיימות הרצאות לציבור. יש ספרייה.

לילדים יש גן ילדים, בית ספר עברי, תוכניות אחר הצהריים, מועדון ילדים וחוג לאמהות ופעוטות.

לנוער ולצעירים יש מועדון נוער, הכנה לבר ובת מצווה, מועדון בר מצווה, מועדון בת מצווה ומסגרת לצעירים עובדים.

עורכים כאן חתונות, בריתות ולוויות. מכינים זוגות לנישואין. חברה קדישא משרתת את הקהילה.

המרכז מבקר חולים בבתי חולים, מבקר אסירים יהודים, משרת אנשי צבא, מטפל בקשישים, עובד עם ילדים עם צרכים מיוחדים, מחלק חבילות מזון, מספק סיוע הומניטרי, מפעיל בית תמחוי ומפעיל גמ"ח.

יש חוג נשים. אפשר לבדוק כאן מזוזות ותפילין. יוצא מכאן טנק מצווה. הבניין נגיש לכיסא גלגלים.
