Welcome to the Chabad Jewish Family Center of Athens, Greece , a place where every Jewish person is embraced with open arms, regardless of their background, affiliation, level of knowledge or commitment.
Our center is located in Marousi , in the Northern Suburbs of Athens , making it easily accessible from anywhere in the city. We also regularly organize programs and events in other convenient locations such as Glyfada , Voula , and other areas throughout Athens , to better serve the local Jewish community .
Our mission is to create an active Jewish center that provides a warm and welcoming environment for both locals and foreigners (ex-pats) alike, offering them a sense of ‘ Home away from Home .’ Our goal is to build a strong and vibrant Jewish community by offering educational programs, outreach initiatives, social services, and a range of activities that are designed to help people connect with their heritage in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.

Chabad Youth & Suburbs Athens is a Chabad house in Athens, led by Rabbi Nossan Hendel.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly and one-to-one study can be arranged.
For children there is after-school programmes and a children's club.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
