Welcome to Chabad Lubavitch of Ghana, your home for Jewish life, learning, and community in Accra. Established in 2015, our Chabad House is directed by Rabbi Yisroel Noach Majesky and his wife Alti, along with their six wonderful children. Together, they have dedicated themselves to fostering a warm and welcoming environment where Jews of all backgrounds can come together to explore and grow in their faith.
At Chabad Lubavitch of Ghana, our mission is to promote Jewish learning, practice, and identity through a wide range of programs and services that cater to all age groups. We are a branch of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch movement, renowned for its efforts to reach every Jew with the light of Judaism, and to provide accessible and meaningful Jewish experiences.
Our Adult Education programs offer a variety of classes and learning opportunities designed to deepen your understanding of Jewish laws, customs, and traditions. Regular classes are held on various topics, and we also provide one-on-one study sessions tailored to your interests and needs.
The Synagogue serves as the heart of our community, where we gather for daily prayers, Shabbat services, and Jewish holidays. We strive to create an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating, regardless of their level of knowledge or observance.

What they offer
Chabad Lubavitch of Ghana is a Chabad house in Accra, led by Rabbi Yisroel Noach Majesky.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.
For children there is a preschool, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.
The center visits patients in hospital.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
