The JRCC West Thornhill centre is a vibrant place where, while open to all, our focus is the Jewish people from the Former Soviet Union and their families; beginners and advanced, thinkers and doers, young an old, come together as one to study, to pray, to rejoice and to grow.
A Learning Experience: Every time a person enters the centre they will learn something new. A new insight. A new reason. A new appreciation for our heritage. We do that by making prayers services inspiring and informative, by providing meaningful classes in a variety of subjects, and by encouraging members to question, challenge and grow.
Community: The Centre's families are a close-knit community, whose members are able to count on each other to be there in times of joy, sorrow, and need. Our kiddush luncheons, Shabbat, pre-holiday programming and looking after each other's needs enhance our sense of community and make us One Big Family.
Children: We make the children the center of our attention, so that they too feel a part of The centre family and look forward to the experience. We do that with an environment that is children friendly and with programs that bring Judaism alive and fun for them. We have a Hebrew school, teen club, tot program and more.

- Sunday morning and Legal Holidays: 9:00 am
- Monday - Friday: 7:00 am
- Morning services 10:00 am followed by sit down luncheon kiddush.
- 6:31 pm Candle lighting time
- 6:30pm Mincha prayers followed by Maariv.
- 10:00 am Shacharit prayers
- 6:30 pm Mincha prayers followed by Maariv prayers.
- After 7:30 pm Candle lighting
- 6:19 pm Holiday Candle Lighting.
- 6:20pm Mincha and Maariv prayers.
- 10:00 am Morning Prayer
- 1:15 pm Kiddush and crackers in the Sukkah.
