We serve students, young adults, families, and seniors with uplifting Shabbat meals, engaging classes, and creative events. We’re also welcoming space for Concordia students to explore Judaism — openly and without judgment. Inspired by the Rebbe’s message of love and inclusion, our mission is simple: to help every soul feel at home.
NDG serves as one of Montreal's cultural and commercial hub for the anglophone community within the West End. We are conveniently located on Sherbrooke Street which is home to many shops and parks.
NDG is a magnet for young professionals , the area’s quaint streets come alive with cafes, boutiques and bookstores. The NDG area also features Concordia's Loyola Campus , a primarily English-speaking Liberal Arts College, with strong Science, Commerce and Engineering Departments.
NDG is home to a large number of stores, offices and homes owned by Jews from all walks of life. Chabad’s arrival has already created a positive stir and ushered in a revival of heritage and spirituality. The time is ripe for Jewish NDG to blossom .

What they offer
Rohr Chabad of NDG is a Chabad house in Montreal, led by Rabbi Yisroel Bernath.
There is a synagogue on the premises. Kosher meals are available on a meal plan. There is a Judaica shop. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at weddings and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital, looks after the elderly and provides humanitarian aid.
There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
