Swarthmore Chabad began as part of Tri-Co (now Bi-Co) Chabad, founded in 2006 by Rabbi Eli and Blumie Gurevitz, to serve the Jewish communities of the Tri-Colleges.
In 2023, Swarthmore Chabad opened its doors as an independent organization under the leadership of Rabbi Mordi and Reizel Wolf, catering specifically to the Jewish community at Swarthmore.
