Chabad of Akron provides synagogue services, spiritual guidance, community outreach and education to inspire all Jews to discover their common bond of Jewish faith and observance.
Chabad of Akron's numerous programs and activities provide the education and means to promote Jewish knowledge, awareness and practice to experience our Jewish heritage connecting us to our past, present and future.
Chabad of Akron's encourages positive action on the part of each Jew and offers its educational programs to all Jewish organizations, synagogues and groups in its efforts to increase Jewish knowledge and observance.

Chabad of Akron & Canton is a Chabad house in Akron, led by Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin.
There is a synagogue on the premises. They kosher kitchens for the community.
Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.
For children there is after-school programmes.
Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bat mitzvah club.
They officiate at funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage.
The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
