Chabad of Randolph

Chabad is a worldwide movement that spreads Jewish awareness offers Jewish education to all who want to learn.Its roots are from a town by the name of Lubavitch which means "city of love". The word Chabad is an acronym for Chachmah, Binah, Daat, which means wisdom, understanding, and knowledge. Through learning and using our minds, we are able to connect more with an invisible G‑d and our souls.

Today, over 3,500 Chabad institutions are located in more than 85 countries, with a new center opening on the average of every ten days.

The approach of Chabad mirrors the teachings of great Chasidic Rabbi's: Look past the outward person and trust in the soul deep inside, love unconditionally, live with joy and be there for your friends and neighbors. A Chabad House or center is established to help facilitate all of the above. A Chabad House will generally host classes, lectures, and workshops on Jewish topics; offer prayer services; Shabbat meals; youth programming; and special events as needed in that community. Counseling, servicing the special need community and programming for those with disabilities and mental health conditions, and other volunteer services are common. Chabad communities are full of connection, warmth, love and joy.
