Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry

Rabbi Zalman and Rebbetzin Shula Kazen founded the Cleveland Kosher Food Pantry 40 years ago as a support network assisting Russian immigrants with food, clothing, and jobs. Over the years, the Pantry’s mission changed to focus on providing food to those who need it while serving a more diverse population, including food-insecure Jewish families in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs and those referred by Cleveland’s social service agencies without discrimination.

The Kosher Food Pantry is a partner agency of Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Hunger Network which supply dry goods and nutritious produce to support weekly food distributions. Donations made directly to the Kosher Food Pantry pay for other kosher staples, additional Jewish holiday foods and items, and the cost of transporting, storing, and distributing the food.

The Kosher Food Pantry is dedicated to nourishing both bodies and souls of our neighbors in need, offering support and friendship to those we serve, and creating a community of volunteers and donors, all of whom are invaluable partners in the mission of KFP.
