Chabad House in Kihei, Hawaii, led by Rabbi Mendy Krasnjansky.

Chabad of Maui is part of the worldwide Chabad-Lubavitch organization, under the leadership and guidance of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Chabad of Maui is one of 5,000+ Chabad centers around the globe goal is to actualizing the Rebbe's vision to allow all Jews a space to connect with their faith and heritage.

M&M were both raised on Shlichut (Chabad outreach). Rabbi Mendy is the first Kama'aina Rabbi in history, Mushka is a 3rd generation Shlucha (emissary). Both are enthusiastic about sharing the joy and rich heritage of Judaism.

What they offer

Chabad of Maui is a Chabad house in Kihei, led by Rabbi Mendy Krasnjansky.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a preschool, a Hebrew school, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners and looks after the elderly.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
