Chabad of South Orlando is a vibrant Jewish community led by Rabbi Yosef and Chani Konikov , who founded the organization in 2000. As an integral part of the Orlando Jewish community, Chabad of South Orlando offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for Jews of all backgrounds and levels of observance.

At Chabad of South Orlando, the focus is on providing a range of services and programs that cater to the needs of the community. The organization is dedicated to promoting Jewish values, traditions, and culture while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

Chabad of South Orlando offers a variety of educational programs for children and adults, including Chai Preschool , Orlando Jewish Day School , Camp Gan Israel Orlando , Dr. Phillips and Winter Garden Chabad Hebrew School , and the Jewish Learning Institute courses. These programs provide a comprehensive Jewish education, enabling individuals to learn, grow and connect with their heritage.

Due to the Mikvah Construction the 8 am Minyan has changed to:
7:15 EST Monday through Friday
Extra Minyan: 8:15am - last 2 weeks of January and 1st week of Feb.
8:30 am EST on Sundays
Chol Hamoed: Shacharis at 8:00am.

What they offer

Chabad of South Orlando is a Chabad house in Orlando, led by Rabbi Yosef Konikov.

There is a synagogue on the premises. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held.

For children there is a preschool, after-school programmes, a children's club and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction, a bar mitzvah club and a bat mitzvah club.

They officiate at funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, looks after the elderly, works with children with special needs and distributes food packages.
