Launched in the fall of 2013 Chabad of the Emerald Coast is your address for everything Jewish. From students to retirees, young professionals to moms, dads and kids, there is something for everyone here. Join us for our exciting holiday programs, an enriching class, or a reinvigorating Shabbat meal. We are here to serve you, and with so many opportunities available just around the corner, all you need to do is show up. Join our email list to be kept in the know of all that's happening.

Chabad of the Emerald Coast is a place where every Jew is welcome - regardless of affiliation or level of knowledge. Our sole purpose is to create a warm welcoming environment to explore and experience our heritage and Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.

What they offer

Chabad of the Emerald Coast is a Chabad house in Destin, led by Rabbi Yeshayahu Tenenboim.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged and public lectures are held.

For children there is a Hebrew school.

Older children and young adults have bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital, visits Jewish prisoners, serves military personnel and looks after the elderly.

There is a women's group. Mezuzos and tefillin can be checked here.
