Chabad of Cape Coral is an innovative, inclusive, Jewish outreach organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged community in Cape Coral.

We unite Jews of all ages, backgrounds and degrees of observance as we explore together – through study, dialogue and experience – the beauty and splendor of Jewish life, ideas and values.

Regardless of your Judaic background and observance, your faith in G-d or current life situation, we offer a non-judgmental atmosphere for you to learn about your heritage.

Chabad of Cape Coral was founded in 2004. Our mission is inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Judaism’s foremost leader in the 20th century, who cared for every single Jew.

What they offer

Chabad of Cape Coral is a Chabad house in Cape Coral, led by Rabbi Yossi Labkowski.

There is a synagogue on the premises. Visitors are welcomed for Shabbat and holiday meals. A kosher store is run here. They kosher kitchens for the community. A mikveh is available.

Classes run regularly, one-to-one study can be arranged, courses from the Jewish Learning Institute are taught and public lectures are held. There is a library.

For children there is a Hebrew school, after-school programmes and a mother-and-child group.

Older children and young adults have a teen club, bar and bat mitzvah instruction and a bar mitzvah club.

They officiate at weddings, circumcisions and funerals. Couples are prepared for marriage. A chevra kadisha serves the community.

The center visits patients in hospital and looks after the elderly.
